Place des Lices, Saint-Tropez - Paul Signac
Paul Signac particularly enjoyed exploring the seashores and ports of the Mediterranean coast. When he discovered Saint-Tropez in 1892, he suddenly became attached to this small fishing village and bought a house there which he quickly made his studio. He enjoyed this region, painting several pointillist pictures of it, including The Port of St Tropez for example.
